Description

This is the Meridian cushion in a plain blush pink velvet-feel fabric, finished with a contrasting piped edge in teal. It is a large square cover, 45cm by 45cm, with the same plain colour running across the front and the reverse, so it sits well whichever way it falls. The pile is a soft, short velvet that catches the light gently, and the raised piped seam that frames all four edges is the detail that gives it its shape and definition.

A cushion this size earns its place on a sofa or a bed, where it holds up under leaning and reading without collapsing flat. The muted blush reads as a warm, gentle pink that works against grey and cream upholstery, natural wood and darker teal or green accents; the teal piping picks up on exactly those deeper tones, so it is easy to build a scheme around.
