Luna Black Two Piece Corner Wall Mirror 200cm

Luna Black Corner L is made for an external corner, at two metres across. It is a disc cut into two half discs which mount one on each face of the corner, with a strip of black lacquered glass down the corner itself. The halves sit at ninety degrees rather than in one plane, so the circle closes only from directly in front and breaks into two curved panels from anywhere else. The design is by Studio Segers.

At two metres it turns the least useful piece of wall in a room into the thing you notice first. It arrives in parts and is assembled in place. It hangs in one direction, with the joint vertical on the arris. At 43kg it is a genuine two person installation and the fixings must reach something structural on both faces rather than plasterboard alone. It is not rated for bathroom use, so keep it to dry rooms. Two screws, washers and plugs are supplied.

The mirror is mirrored glass with a black lacquered glass strip at the joint. Clean the glass with cleaner sprayed onto a soft cloth, working outwards from the corner rather than across it. Set both halves out before fixing either, because at this size a few millimetres of difference in height shows across the whole circle. The strip sits deeper than the glass either side of it, so the channel on the arris collects dust more readily than a flat pane and repays a dry brush. A 150cm size is made for a smaller corner. Seven year warranty, made in Europe.
