Description

The Lite Hole S120 is a large LED pendant light: a slim round head 120cm across and just 8cm deep, with a soft white diffuser filling the whole circle inside a fine aluminium rim. The light source is integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 19.5W and gives 3664lm of 3000K light with a CRI of 90, which keeps food, fabrics and skin tones looking true. It comes in a choice of White, Black, Gold or Copper.

At this size it is made for a generous space: over a long dining table, where its wide, even light reaches every seat, or above the seating area of an open living room with good ceiling height. It hangs from a canopy 12cm across and 2.5cm deep on fine suspension wires with a central cable, and it can be hung at the height that suits the room, up to a maximum drop of 250cm. It dims on a DALI system or by push dimming, with a compatible control. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

The design is by David Abad, who kept the form pared back: a shallow round head, a slim rim and a single centre cable, with nothing fussy to catch the eye or the dust. It is a Class I fitting that runs on 230V mains power and is wired in by a qualified electrician, so it is worth planning its position with them in advance, especially over a table. Because the light comes from the whole face of the diffuser rather than one point, one fitting this wide can light a long table or a seating area evenly. Our photographs show the gold version.
