Description

Our Liova kids chair is built around two circles: a round striped seat and a round striped backrest, joined by a single upright and carried on four legs that curve down from under the seat. It is made from 70% MDF and 30% plywood with a painted finish. It is multicoloured, with the stripes running upright on the backrest and across the seat. It measures 40cm long, 30cm wide and 58cm tall and weighs 2.3KG, a size made for a child rather than an adult.

It belongs in a child's bedroom or playroom, pulled up to a low table for drawing, puzzles and building blocks, or set on its own in the corner of a room as a spot for looking through picture books. At 30cm wide it fits into the small gaps that a full-size chair would not, beside a bookcase, under a window or next to a toy box. At 2.3KG it is light enough for an adult to carry from the bedroom to the living room when cousins visit. The striped pattern and round outlines make it a cheerful birthday present for a family who like colour at home.
