Description
The Lika Trimless is a small rectangular recessed downlight built to sit flush into plaster with no visible bezel, so the light appears as a clean slot cut straight into the ceiling. The black die-cast body plasters in behind the surface and the LED sits deep behind a shiny black reflector, leaving nothing on show but the aperture and a single directed beam below. Read against a dark or painted ceiling it all but disappears when off.
The LED is built in and gives 630 lumens through a tight 29-degree beam, a focused pool for lighting a picture, a worktop edge or a reading spot rather than a whole room. Colour is a neutral 4000K with a colour rendering above 90, so whites stay crisp and materials read true, which suits a kitchen or a work area where a cooler, cleaner light is wanted. The deep black reflector holds glare low, and a run of them gives a line of clean accents with no trim breaking the ceiling.
The body is painted die-cast aluminium in black with a shiny black polycarbonate reflector, rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms. It is built to plaster in, so it is set during the ceiling finish rather than clipped in afterwards, and the driver is included. We supply it complete, with the LED and driver in place and nothing to wire beyond the mains feed.

Frequently Asked
What does trimless mean here?
The fitting plasters into the ceiling with no visible bezel, so the light reads as a clean slot cut into the surface rather than a ring on show. It is set during the plastering stage, not clipped in afterwards.
What kind of light does it cast?
A focused neutral downlight. The built-in LED sits deep behind a black reflector and throws 630 lumens through a tight 29-degree beam at 4000K, marking out a spot rather than lighting a room.
Is there a bulb to fit?
No. The LED is built into the body with the driver included, rated for around 50,000 hours, so it arrives ready to wire with no lamp to add or replace in normal use.
How does the 4000K colour compare to the 3000K?
This is the neutral 4000K white, cooler and crisper, which keeps whites clean and suits kitchens and work areas. The matching 3000K version in the range gives a warmer, softer light for living rooms.
