This cream stoneware cup comes with its own matching saucer, and both are shaped with soft vertical ribs that end in a wavy, scalloped edge. The cup holds 220ml, which makes it a generous teacup or cappuccino cup rather than a mug. It is 11cm across and 5cm tall, with a wide, open bowl and a looped handle. The saucer is 15cm across and 2cm tall and has the same rippled rim. Stoneware is a dense ceramic that holds heat well, a good quality in a cup for the first drink of the morning.
