Description

This Knightsbridge grid switch blank cover is a 33mm x 16mm replacement rocker module in matt black, designed to slot into Knightsbridge Grid Plus modular switch and socket systems. The blank cover fills unused grid positions or replaces existing rocker modules where you need a clean unmarked surface instead of a labelled switch.

The blank cover fits any Knightsbridge Grid Plus plate or frame that accepts standard 16mm-wide modules, allowing you to reconfigure control panels without replacing the entire grid assembly. Remove the existing rocker by pressing the release clips on the back of the grid frame, then clip the blank cover into the vacant slot until it locks into place. The matt black finish matches the rest of the Knightsbridge matt black grid range.

The cover is moulded from ABS plastic with a steel insert for mechanical strength, giving it the same click-fit mechanism and wear resistance as standard labelled rockers. The low-sheen matt black surface resists fingerprints and integrates cleanly into contemporary interiors where gloss finishes would catch light. At 6.8mm projection from the grid frame, the blank sits flush with adjacent modules. Knightsbridge backs the cover with a 25-year warranty.

Which grid systems does this fit?

This blank cover fits Knightsbridge Grid Plus modular switch and socket systems that accept standard 16mm-wide modules. It will not fit older Knightsbridge grid systems or other manufacturers' modular ranges.

How is the blank cover installed?

Remove the existing rocker module by pressing the release clips on the back of the grid frame, then clip the blank cover into the vacant slot until it locks. No tools or wiring changes are needed.

Can it be used to replace a labelled rocker?

Yes. If you have a grid plate with labelled rockers (e.g. 'Washing Machine', 'Dishwasher') and want to swap one for an unmarked blank, this cover replaces any standard 16mm rocker module in the grid.
