Description

This is a pair of iron candle holders in black, one 18cm tall and the other 20cm tall, each 6cm across. Each has a deep, narrow cup on a slim stem that rises from a round, flat base. The stem is closely wound from base to cup in a fine spiral wrap, which gives the slender line a change of texture between the black cup and the black base. The two heights are the point: side by side, the candles finish at different levels, which looks more relaxed than a matched pair. The cup is shaped for a slim taper candle.

They suit the centre of a dining table, where the difference in height reads clearly and neither holder looks out of place. They sit just as well on a sideboard or a shelf, grouped with vases, a few books or a small tray of tealight holders.
