Description
A set of three glass baubles, each 10cm across, in an antique champagne that runs warm gold in one light and closer to pale stone in another. Each sphere is etched with a broad arc that springs from a single point and fills with clusters of small dotted florets, with fine scrollwork worked underneath it. A pressed metal collar caps the top and carries a ring, and a length of rust red velvet ribbon is knotted through the ring and left with its ends cut raw.
At 10cm across these sit at the larger end of a bauble, and three of them go where a tree carries weight rather than where it needs filling: the front of a low branch, the turn of a corner, the eye line of anyone walking past. The ribbon is long enough to knot straight over a bare branch without a hook, which is also how they hang along a mantel. Against a dark ground the etched arcs read as pale lines and the dotted clusters pick up light on their own.
The glass is recycled and each bauble is etched and finished by hand, so the pattern shifts from one sphere to the next and the champagne sits unevenly across the surface, thinner in some places and denser in others. The collar and the ring are metal and the tie is velvet ribbon. The Kecci range is also made in antique pink, in a set of four.

Frequently Asked
How big are they?
10cm across, and three come in a set.
What are they made from?
Recycled glass, with a pressed metal collar and ring at the top.
How do they hang?
On a rust red velvet ribbon knotted through the ring, long enough to tie straight over a branch.
Will the three match each other?
Not exactly. Each one is etched and finished by hand, so the pattern and the depth of the champagne vary across the three.
How do I look after them?
Wipe any dust away with a dry, soft cloth, handle them with care, and keep harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners off the finish. They are for indoor use only.
