The Kariba Elephant is a 30cm hurricane candle holder built around a cast aluminium elephant figure supporting a smoked grey glass votive holder. The elephant stands beneath a stylised tree with two ribbed metal leaves rising around the glass, the entire metal framework finished in a dual-tone antique brass that shifts from darker bronze tones on the elephant to lighter brass highlights on the leaves and tree trunk.

Is the glass removable for cleaning?

Yes. The smoked grey glass hurricane lifts out of the metal cradle for cleaning and candle replacement. Wash the glass separately with warm soapy water and dry before replacing.

How is the metal finish maintained?

The antique brass finish on cast aluminium develops a natural patina over time. To preserve the dual-tone contrast, dust with a dry soft cloth. Avoid metal polishes, which will remove the deliberately darkened areas and flatten the tonal variation.

Can it be used outdoors?

The Kariba is designed for indoor use. Cast aluminium can withstand occasional outdoor placement in dry weather, but prolonged exposure to rain or moisture will accelerate oxidation and may damage the finish.
