Description

Our Jolly plate is a cream stoneware Christmas plate with a ring of nutcracker figures standing in a single row around the rim. It is 16cm across and 3cm tall, which is a side plate size rather than a dinner plate. That makes it the right size for a mince pie, a slice of Christmas cake, a few biscuits or the bread roll beside the main course. A fine line traces the outer edge, and the centre is left plain, so the food sits on a clean cream ground with the figures framing it. It weighs 0.26KG.

It is made for the festive table. Lay one at each place for pudding on Christmas Day, or bring a few out with the cheese and crackers on Boxing Day. You could also keep some by the kettle for the mince pies and stollen that come and go all through December.
