The Iota is a 26cm round white marble accent table with a brushed gold metal C-frame that slides under sofas, armchairs or beds to bring the surface closer to the user. The top is cut from white Banswara marble sourced from Rajasthan, India, known for its bright white base tone and soft grey veining that runs through each piece differently.

Designed as a sofa-side or bedside table, the C-shaped frame lets the base sit flush under furniture while the marble top overhangs by approximately 15cm, positioning it over the seat cushion or mattress edge. This configuration suits laptops, reading material, drinks or phones where a conventional four-leg side table would need to sit too far from the user. The 59cm height aligns with standard sofa arm height (55-65cm) and typical mattress height (50-60cm from floor).

The marble top shows variation between individual tables — some pieces carry more grey veining, others less — which is a feature of natural stone rather than a defect. The brushed gold finish on the metal frame is a warm-toned metallic coating over steel, giving a satin sheen that softens reflections compared to polished brass. Yes. Each top is cut from natural Banswara marble, so the density and pattern of grey veining differs between individual pieces. Some tables show more pronounced veining, others show less. This is a characteristic of natural stone.
