Description

The Iota is a compact accent table built around a 26cm round disc of Brown Emperador Italian marble set on a cantilevered C-frame in brushed metal with a smoked gold finish. The marble top sits at 59cm height, positioning it slightly below standard arm height for most sofas and armchairs.

Designed for use beside sofas, armchairs and beds where a small surface is needed for a drink, phone, remote or reading lamp without occupying floor space under the furniture. The C-frame allows the circular base to slide under the furniture footprint while the marble platform overhangs above the seat or mattress edge. The 26cm diameter top holds a mug, book and phone simultaneously but remains compact enough not to obstruct movement in tighter living spaces.

Each Emperador marble top shows different fossil deposits, mineral veining and tonal variation in the brown base colour, ranging from warm chocolate tones to cooler grey-browns depending on the section of stone it was cut from. The brushed metal finish on the smoked gold frame diffuses reflections and pairs cleanly with both warm-toned and neutral interiors. The table weighs 3.75kg, giving it stability without needing additional weighting when positioned correctly.

Yes. Each top is cut from natural Brown Emperador Italian marble, so the veining, fossil deposits and exact shade of brown differ between individual tables. This is a feature of the natural stone, not a defect.
