Description

The I3-Nara is a 4-light LED bar pendant from Schuller combining two amber glass shades and two smoked grey glass shades on a 71.5cm polished chrome bar. Each glass shade houses an opal acrylic diffuser with integrated 5W LED (20W total output at 3000K), creating a layered glass-on-diffuser effect that softens the warm white light output.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and open-plan living zones, the I3-Nara works in spaces needing 1.5-2m of illuminated span with a tonal feature rather than uniform coverage. The pendant is height adjustable between 55cm and 150cm drop from ceiling to base of the bar, allowing it to be set 70-90cm above a dining surface or kitchen worktop depending on ceiling height. The chrome bar fits standard UK ceiling roses and the cable run for each pendant is individually adjustable during installation to achieve a level hang.

The asymmetric glass shades vary in both colour (alternating amber and smoked grey) and form (two cylindrical caged shades, one conical shade, one spherical shade), giving the pendant a varied silhouette when viewed from the side. The opal diffusers inside each shade prevent direct view of the LED light source and distribute the 3000K light evenly through the coloured glass. The combined 20W output and warm colour temperature suit ambient rather than task lighting applications, providing background illumination for a 12-16m² area.

The I3-Nara is rated Class 1 (earthed metal construction) and IP20 (dry indoor locations only). Dimmer compatibility requires a trailing-edge LED wall dimmer — contact us for confirmed compatible models before pairing with a dimmer circuit.

The pendant is typically installed with 70-90cm clearance between the base of the shades and the table surface, which requires a ceiling height of approximately 2.4m or above when the suspension is set to its minimum 55cm drop. The height is adjustable during installation.

Can the glass shades be replaced if damaged?
