Description
The Halston is a 358mm wide opal glass pendant with a conical shade suspended from a brushed gold stem and ceiling canopy. The cone diffuser is glossy white opal glass, casting soft downward and outward light when fitted with an E27 bulb up to 60W (sold separately). The stem extends from a shallow brushed gold canopy and connects to a matching brushed gold collar at the top of the glass cone.
Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and open-plan living areas, the Halston works in spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher. The drop is adjustable between 381mm and 1474mm on installation, allowing the pendant to be set at the right height for a worktop (600-700mm above surface) or a dining table (700-800mm above surface). The cone shape directs most light downward while the opal glass prevents harsh glare and softens the bulb outline.
The brushed gold finish on the metalwork introduces a warm accent without high reflectivity, pairing with both warm-toned and neutral interiors. The glossy white cone provides contrast against the gold and maintains a clean visual profile when switched off. At 358mm wide and 229mm tall (excluding drop), the Halston suits medium-sized rooms and island lengths of 1.5-2.5m when used in multiples.
The E27 socket accepts standard Edison screw LED, halogen or filament bulbs. Most users pair this pendant with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient or task lighting. The opal diffuser softens the light output regardless of bulb type, so clear filament bulbs can be used without creating harsh shadows.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Halston take?
The Halston takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient or task lighting over dining tables or kitchen islands.
What height should the pendant hang above a dining table?
For a dining table, the bottom of the shade typically sits 700-800mm above the table surface. The adjustable drop (381mm-1474mm) allows the pendant to be set at the correct height during installation depending on your ceiling height.
Can multiple Halston pendants be used together?
Yes. The Halston works well in multiples over longer kitchen islands or dining tables. For island lengths of 1.5-2.5m, two pendants spaced evenly provide balanced task lighting. For longer islands, three pendants can be spaced at 800-900mm intervals.
Is the opal glass easy to clean?
The glossy white opal glass can be wiped with a soft damp cloth and a small amount of glass cleaner. Switch off the power and allow the bulb to cool before cleaning. Avoid abrasive cloths or harsh chemicals that may scratch the glass surface.
