Description

The Knightsbridge white grid switch cover is a replacement rocker cap pre-printed with 'WASHING MACHINE' designation, designed to clip onto standard Knightsbridge grid rocker modules. The cover measures 33mm high by 16mm wide with a 6.8mm projection from the grid plate face, fitting 20A DP grid switches used for washing machines, dishwashers and other fixed kitchen appliances.

Used in kitchen utility areas, laundry rooms and service cupboards where multiple appliances share a single grid plate, the pre-printed designation removes ambiguity over which switch controls which appliance. The white UREA finish matches standard white grid plates and the black sans-serif text provides clear contrast for quick identification. The rocker simply clips off the existing switch mechanism and the new designated rocker clips back on without removing the grid plate from the wall.

The ABS construction with white UREA finish carries an IP20 rating, suitable for dry indoor locations above worktop height. Knightsbridge backs this grid accessory with a 25-year warranty, the same as their main grid switch range. The interchangeable rocker design means appliance designations can be changed as kitchen layouts are reconfigured without replacing the entire switch module.

This cover fits Knightsbridge 20A DP grid rocker switches, the type typically used for washing machines, dishwashers and other fixed appliances in modular grid plate installations. It will not fit standard plate switches or other manufacturers' grid systems.

Can the rocker be changed without re-wiring?

Yes. The rocker cap clips onto the switch mechanism from the front and can be removed and replaced without disconnecting wiring or removing the grid plate from the wall. Simply pull the existing rocker off and clip the new designated rocker into place.
