Description

This is a pair of stoneware Christmas cups with faces: a bearded gentleman with a broad moustache and a striped jumper, and a granny with her hair parted in the middle, painted lips and a spotted top. The features are embossed, so the beard, the nose and the hair stand out in relief, and the outside is painted by hand in multicoloured detail. Each cup holds 280ml, a generous size for a proper cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate, and stands 8cm across and 9cm tall with a looped handle.

Bring them out for the festive season: hot chocolate on Christmas Eve, a slow breakfast on Christmas morning, or a pot of tea shared by the tree in the evening.
