The Gong pendant light is a broad, shallow disc, 60cm across and just 6.6cm high, that hangs on fine wires from a round ceiling canopy. We offer it in three finishes: White, Black and Gold Leaf. Its light comes from an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. Drawing 43W, it gives 4413 lumens of warm white light at 3000K, with a CRI of 90, which means food, fabrics and skin tones look natural beneath it. It is dimmable by DALI or push, so you can bring the light down for a quieter evening.

We think the Gong suits a dining room best, where a 60cm disc sits comfortably over a good-sized table. It works well in a living room too, over a coffee table or a favourite chair, and two or three hung at different drops make a striking group. The canopy is 20cm across and the maximum drop is 200cm, so it can hang low over a table or higher in a room with a tall ceiling. Choose White for a pale, quiet room, Black for contrast against light walls, or Gold Leaf for a warm, crinkled surface that catches the light.

The Gong runs on 230V mains and is wired in, so it must be installed by a qualified electrician. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, which suits the dining rooms and living rooms it is made for. Whichever finish you pick, White, Black or Gold Leaf, the disc keeps the same slim 6.6cm profile. With an integrated LED there are no bulbs to keep in the drawer, and since it dims by DALI or push, it is worth knowing which your home uses before you order.
