The Golden Ring is a vast circular pendant light, a single slim ring of aluminium 301cm across and 15cm deep, finished in black. A soft band of light runs around its inner edge from an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 370W and gives 26166 lumens of warm 3000K light with a CRI of 90, which means skin tones, wood and fabrics look true to colour beneath it. It hangs from a canopy 14cm across, on a drop of up to 500cm, so you can set the ring at the height that suits your room.

At this size the Golden Ring is made for generous rooms with high ceilings. In a large dining room it can float above a long table and light everyone around it; in a double-height living room it gives the space a clear centre and a broad spread of light from one fitting. The warm 3000K tone keeps evenings relaxed, and because it is dimmable, by DALI or push, you can bring it right down for dinner and back up when you need to see clearly. It is rated IP40, so it is for dry rooms indoors only, which suits the living and dining rooms it belongs in.

The black finish keeps the outline crisp against a pale ceiling, and the slim profile means the ring reads as a fine drawn line rather than a heavy shape, even at 301cm across.
