Description

The Ginevra 50 is a drum pendant light: a wide, shallow disc of matt white lined in brass, with a white diffuser across its base. It measures 53cm across and just 11cm tall, so it reads as a broad, low form rather than a deep shade. The light is a 36W integrated LED giving 2916lm, so there is no bulb to buy or change. With a CRI of 90 it shows food, fabrics and skin tones in true colour. We offer it in two colour temperatures, 2700K or 3000K. The 2700K version gives the warmer, softer glow, and the 3000K version a slightly crisper warm white.

Its size and output make it a natural choice over a dining table, or as the main light in a living room. It can hang up to 200cm below the ceiling, so it can sit low over a table or higher in a room with a tall ceiling. It is dimmable, either on a DALI control system or by push dimming. That lets it run bright for a family meal and come down for a quiet evening. You will need a compatible control for the method you choose. It is rated IP20, which means it is for dry rooms only.

The pendant hangs from a round ceiling canopy 14cm across, on fine suspension cables with the power cable running alongside. The matt white finish keeps the drum quiet against a pale ceiling, while the brass lining catches the light and gives a warm edge when it is on. It runs on 230V mains and is wired in by a qualified electrician. It is worth agreeing the drop with them so the drum hangs at the height you want over the table or seating.
