Description

The Ginevra 50 is a wide drum pendant light, 53cm across and only 11cm tall, in matt black with a brass inner band. The low, open drum hangs flat, and the underside is closed by a white diffuser, so you see a glowing disc of light rather than a bare source. The light source is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 36W and gives 2916 lumens, which is plenty to light a dining table or the middle of a living room on its own. With a CRI of 90, food, fabrics and skin tones look true to colour.

We see the Ginevra 50 most at home over a dining table, where its broad disc of light sits well, or hung at the centre of a living room. Its 200cm maximum drop lets you set it low over a table or higher under a tall ceiling, and the 14cm canopy sits neatly on the ceiling. It comes in 2700K or 3000K: choose 2700K for a warmer, cosier light in the evening, or 3000K for a slightly crisper white that still feels warm. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

The matt black finish keeps the drum quiet when it is off, while the brass on the inner band catches the light and warms the glow when it is on. It is dimmable by DALI or push, so it can run from a DALI lighting control system or from a push switch, and you can bring the light right down for a relaxed supper. It runs on 230V mains power and is wired in to the mains, so a qualified electrician should install it. Before you order, check your ceiling height and how low you want it to hang, as its drop goes up to 200cm.
