Description

The Giano is a long, slim linear LED pendant light in a white finish, 201.8cm long, 9.8cm tall and 4.2cm wide. It is a straight rectangular bar hung on fine wires, and its light comes from a narrow diffuser running along the underside. The light source is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It gives 6055lm of 3000K warm white light with a CRI of 90, which keeps food, fabrics and skin tones looking natural, and a 60° beam that directs it downwards.

At just over two metres long, the Giano suits a dining room, hung over a long table so one fitting runs along its length, or a living room where you want a clean line of light over a sideboard or seating area. It has a drop of up to 200cm, so you can set it at the height that suits your ceiling and table. It is rated IP40, so it is for dry rooms only. We sell it in two versions: non-dimmable, for simple on and off, or DALI or push dimmable, which dims from a DALI control system or a push switch.

It runs on 230V mains power and is wired in by a qualified electrician, hanging from canopies that measure 13.6cm by 5.6cm. Depending on the version, the LED draws 70W or 72W, and that output comes from one continuous fitting rather than a row of separate pendants. The white finish is plain and clean, so the bar reads as a simple line against a pale ceiling and sits easily with most interiors. As it is just over two metres long, it is worth measuring your table or room first so the Giano sits comfortably within it, with space to spare at each end.
