This is a printed indoor and outdoor rug measuring 120 x 170cm, sized to sit at a kitchen sink, run along a hallway, or lie across a patio or balcony. The design is a hand-painted lemon motif scattered over a soft sage and cream gingham check, with clusters of yellow fruit and green foliage repeating across the ground. It is made from 100% polyester, a synthetic fibre chosen here for its water resistance and its ability to shrug off damp and regular use without losing colour.
