Description

This Eveready lantern does two jobs from one body. Pushed shut it works as a directional torch, with the beam at one end; pulled open it becomes an area lantern that spreads light right around a tent, a table or a room. The pack rates it at 300 lumens, which is a useful working light rather than a keyring glow, and describes the power as hybrid: a rechargeable lithium ion battery and a charging cable come in the box, and the pack states the lantern will also run on three AA cells, which are not included. The body is black, with a red collar around the light head and a single button on the front.

That pairing suits the jobs where you cannot be sure what power you will have.
