Description

The Equinoxe gathers six hand-finished glass globes at staggered heights beneath a round antique-brass canopy, each globe fading from clear to a soft amber so the cluster looks like suspended droplets. Every globe takes a small G4 lamp, and lit, the amber glass warms the light and throws gentle patterns onto the surfaces around it, an effect that is decorative and glittering rather than a flood of task light.

Unlit, it holds its shape as a sculptural cluster, the brass and graduated amber reading as a centrepiece in their own right. The globes hang on fine cables at different drops within an overall height of up to 2250mm, and the 650mm spread makes it a genuine feature fitting.

We would hang it over a dining table, in a stairwell or in a double-height hallway where the staggered globes can be seen from below and around. Bulbs are not included, so you can choose warm LED G4 lamps to suit; it wires to a ceiling point and, at IP20, is for dry indoor rooms, so we would have an electrician fit it.
