Description

The Energizer Metal LED torch houses three white LEDs in a compact aluminium barrel, delivering 50 lumens of white light with a beam distance of 30 metres. The torch runs on three AAA alkaline batteries (not included) and provides up to 15 hours of continuous runtime on a single set of fresh batteries.

Designed for everyday carry, the torch measures 108mm in length and weighs just 60g without batteries, making it small enough to fit in a jacket pocket, glove box or tool bag. The knurled metal barrel provides grip in wet or gloved hands, and the included wrist lanyard with clip attachment prevents the torch from being dropped during use. The push-button tail switch operates with one hand.

The aluminium body is impact-resistant up to 1 metre drop height on hard surfaces, providing durability for workshop, outdoor and vehicle emergency use. The 50-lumen output sits between basic keyring torches and higher-powered tactical models, offering enough light for close-range task work, map reading, or navigating paths and driveways without excessive battery drain.

No. The torch requires 3 x AAA alkaline batteries, which are sold separately. Energizer recommends using Energizer Max AAA batteries for optimal runtime.

How long does the battery last?

The torch provides up to 15 hours of continuous runtime on three fresh AAA alkaline batteries. Actual runtime varies depending on battery brand, temperature and whether the batteries are fresh or partially used.

What is the beam distance?

The 50-lumen output provides a beam distance of 30 metres, which is adequate for navigating paths, inspecting vehicle engines, or lighting a tent or small room. This is not a long-throw spotlight torch.

Is the torch waterproof?

The torch is impact-resistant to 1 metre and has a weather-resistant aluminium body, but it is not rated for full water immersion. It will handle rain and splashes but should not be submerged.
