Description
The Energizer HDLGO is a hybrid-powered head torch delivering up to 575 lumens from a white LED main beam, with secondary red and green LEDs for preserving night vision. The unit accepts either the included rechargeable lithium-ion battery (charged via micro-USB cable, also included) or three AAA alkaline batteries (included), allowing users to switch between rechargeable convenience and disposable backup depending on access to mains power.
Designed for outdoor use, trade work and emergency backup, the head torch carries an IPX7 waterproof rating and can withstand temporary immersion in water up to 1m deep for 30 minutes. The beam reaches 75m in high mode, with runtime of approximately 2 hours on the rechargeable battery at maximum output. Seven lighting modes include high white, medium white, low white, red constant, green constant, red flashing, and dimming function. The headband is adjustable and the lamp housing pivots approximately 90 degrees to direct the beam downward without tilting the head.
The brown and white housing measures approximately 60mm across the lens face, with the headband adjustable to fit head circumferences from approximately 500-650mm. Total weight including the rechargeable battery is 170g. The shatterproof lens protects the LEDs from impact, and the battery compartment seals with a gasket-backed cover to maintain the IPX7 rating. The micro-USB charging port sits behind a hinged rubber cover on the side of the housing.

Frequently Asked
Can it run on both rechargeable and disposable batteries?
Yes. The head torch accepts either the included rechargeable lithium-ion battery or three AAA alkaline batteries (also included in the pack). This allows you to recharge at home and carry disposable AAA batteries as backup for extended trips away from mains power.
What does IPX7 waterproof mean?
IPX7 rating means the head torch can withstand immersion in water up to 1 metre deep for up to 30 minutes. It will survive heavy rain, temporary drops into puddles or streams, and can be rinsed under a tap to clean off mud or debris.
What are the red and green LED modes for?
Red and green LEDs preserve night vision better than white light. Red is commonly used for astronomy, wildlife observation, and reading maps at night without losing dark adaptation. Green is useful for hunting and some tactical applications. Both modes drain the battery more slowly than the high-power white beam.
How long does the rechargeable battery take to charge?
Charging time depends on the power source. Using a standard 5V 1A USB adapter, the lithium-ion battery typically charges in 3-4 hours from empty. The LED indicator on the housing shows charging status: red while charging, green when fully charged.
