Description

The Eamon is a GU10 outdoor spike light with a cylindrical anthracite polycarbonate body mounted on a spike base for insertion into soil or gravel. The fitting is IP65 rated against water jets and dust ingress, with a clear polycarbonate front lens that directs the GU10 beam at an adjustable angle on the tilt mechanism. The lamp housing tilts approximately 90 degrees from ground-level upward to vertical, allowing the light to be aimed at planting, pathways, walls or architectural features.

Designed for garden beds, border edges and pathway illumination, the Eamon suits soft-landscaped areas where a spike can be pushed 100-120mm into soil without needing ground fixings or masonry. The fitting arrives prewired with a 1m outdoor-rated cable terminated in a connector block, ready to join to a low-voltage or mains garden lighting circuit. The polycarbonate construction resists impact and UV degradation better than glass alternatives and carries no corrosion risk in coastal or high-humidity environments.

The anthracite finish is a dark charcoal grey that disappears into planting during daylight and blends with contemporary paving and metal edging. The 60mm diameter body and 163mm total projection from ground level keep the fitting compact enough to be used in dense planting without dominating the visual weight of a bed. The fitting accepts any GU10 LED bulb up to 5W (sold separately), with dimming dependent on the specific bulb chosen. The fitting takes a standard GU10 LED bulb up to 5W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair the Eamon with a warm-white 3W-4W GU10 LED at 2700K-3000K for accent lighting on planting or pathways.

Can the light angle be adjusted?

Yes. The lamp housing tilts on a friction joint through approximately 90 degrees, allowing the beam to be aimed from ground level upward to near-vertical. The angle can be readjusted after installation if needed.

Is the Eamon suitable for coastal locations?

Yes. The polycarbonate construction carries no metal body components that could corrode in salt air. The IP65 rating protects internal connections from moisture ingress. The fitting is rated for coastal and high-humidity environments.

How deep does the spike need to go?
