Description

We stock the Dip as a 66mm recessed downlight for ceilings, with a black aluminium bezel and an integrated 10W LED. It gives 1120 lumens of warm white 3000K light through a 50 degree beam, and a high 90 CRI means colours read accurately once the fitting is in.

It is made for ceiling installation in living rooms, hallways, kitchens and commercial spaces, and it recesses into the ceiling void so the bezel sits level with the surface. The black finish blends into dark ceilings or reads as a defined dark point on white ones, and the 50 degree beam spreads evenly for general ambient light without harsh hotspots underneath.

The aluminium body works as a heat-sink to manage the 10W LED and hold a steady output over time, and the black powder-coated finish resists scuffing and discolouration. At 1120 lumens it covers roughly a 3 to 4 square metre zone in a grid, or picks out a single area on its own. It carries an IP20 rating for dry indoor use and runs on 220-240V AC mains.

Product datasheet

Frequently Asked

What size cut-out does it need?

The bezel measures 66mm, so plan your ceiling cut-out around that diameter. Check the datasheet for the exact recess dimensions before you drill.

Is it dimmable?

No. This version runs at a fixed output, so it is not set up to work with a dimmer switch. If you need dimming, pair it with a switched circuit rather than a dimmable one.

Which rooms is it suitable for?

It carries an IP20 rating, which means it is made for dry indoor spaces such as living rooms, hallways and kitchens. We would not recommend it for a shower zone or anywhere exposed to direct moisture.

Do I need to buy a bulb?

No. The 10W LED is built into the downlight and gives 1120 lumens of warm 3000K light, so there is no separate bulb to fit or replace.
