Description

The Dasan is a 60mm diameter cylindrical pendant light with a 110mm-deep black aluminium body, a 1.25m cable drop and a downward-facing GU10 lamp fitting. The cylinder houses a single GU10 bulb (sold separately), directing light downward through the open base of the fitting, making it suitable for task lighting over kitchen worktops, dining tables, breakfast bars and reception desks.

Designed for domestic and hospitality installation, the Dasan uses a tool-free cable termination system that speeds up second-fix work on multi-pendant runs. The loop-in/loop-out functionality allows installers to daisy-chain multiple pendants from a single supply without additional junction boxes. The 1.25m cable can be shortened on site if a shorter drop is needed, or the pendant can be suspended at full length for high-ceilinged spaces.

The black aluminium body is powder-coated to a low-sheen finish that resists fingerprints and surface wear. At 60mm diameter and 110mm height, the Dasan has a compact profile that works well in multiples over a long kitchen island or dining table without dominating the sightline. The IP20 rating makes it suitable for dry interior locations. Dimming capability depends on the GU10 bulb installed — pair with a dimmable GU10 LED and a compatible dimmer to control output.

What bulb does the Dasan take?

The fitting takes a single GU10 bulb up to 10W. GU10 bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED GU10 between 5-8W and 2700K-3000K for kitchen or dining table lighting.

Is the Dasan dimmable?

Dimming depends on the GU10 bulb you install. If you fit a dimmable GU10 LED and pair it with a compatible trailing-edge dimmer, the light output can be controlled. Non-dimmable GU10s will run at full output only.

Can the cable length be adjusted?

Yes. The 1.25m cable can be shortened during installation if a shorter drop is needed. The tool-free termination system allows installers to adjust cable length on site without re-wiring.
