Description
A media unit 145cm wide, 65cm high and 40cm deep, built as a mango wood carcass held inside a slim dark iron frame that carries on down into four legs. A cupboard sits at each end behind a plain door with a long iron drop handle, and between them an open bay is divided by a single shelf. A round port is cut through the back of the upper bay to take cables. The wood is sand blasted for texture, so the grain stands out of the surface and no two doors read alike.
At 145cm it takes a television on the top with room either side, and the open bay is sized for whatever has to stay in the line of sight of a remote control: a box, a console, a hub. Cables drop through the port at the back of that bay rather than over the front edge. The two cupboards take what does not need to be seen. At 65cm high it also works as a plain sideboard, taking candlesticks and vases along the top and books on the open shelf.
The carcass is mango wood and the frame is iron in a dark finish. Each cupboard holds one shelf and the open bay holds one, so there are three in all. The Dasai range also runs to a console table, a chest of drawers, a storage unit and a bedside table.

Frequently Asked
What size is it?
145cm wide, 65cm high and 40cm deep.
Is there a way through for cables?
Yes. A round port is cut through the back panel of the open bay.
What is inside it?
A shelf in each of the two cupboards and a shelf in the open centre bay.
What is it made from?
Mango wood, sand blasted for texture, held in a solid iron frame with a dark finish.
How do I look after it?
Feed the wood with an edible oil such as olive or walnut, worked into the surface with a cloth, and expect the oil to darken the tone. Blot any spillage straight away with a dry cloth, because liquid will mark the finish, and keep chemical cleaners away from it. The colour will shift over time, which is the nature of the timber.
