Description

We stock this DALI constant current LED driver as a 12W, 300mA power supply for LED installations that need addressable dimming and colour temperature control. It takes a 220-240V AC 50/60Hz mains input and delivers a steady 300mA output, with three colour temperature circuits so you can run tunable warm-to-cool white loads from one unit. The white plastic enclosure is rated IP20 for dry indoor use.

It suits recessed downlight runs, cove and architectural lighting, and commercial fit-outs where DALI dimming and CCT tuning are part of the spec. The DALI interface lets the driver be addressed on a DALI bus, so you can dim it individually or group it into zones from a central controller or wall panel. Because it drives constant current at a fixed 300mA, it keeps LED brightness even as the load warms up, which helps the diodes last.

We supply the driver on its own; the LED modules, DALI controller and wiring are sold separately. It is dimmable only through the DALI protocol, not a standard trailing- or leading-edge wall dimmer, so plan the control gear accordingly. The IP20 rating means it must sit inside a ceiling void, enclosure or behind a panel in a dry location, and it is rated to run in ambient temperatures from -20 degrees C to +45 degrees C.

How is this driver dimmed?

It dims through the DALI protocol only. You control it from a DALI controller or wall panel over a DALI bus, so it will not dim on a standard trailing- or leading-edge wall dimmer.

What can it power?

It is a 12W constant current driver with a fixed 300mA output, so it suits compatible LED modules rated for 300mA drive. It also has three colour temperature circuits for tunable warm-to-cool white loads.

Can I use it outdoors or in a bathroom?
