Description

We stock the Crochet as an LED floor lamp for ambient light rather than a single focused pool. It is built around two overlapping oval rings in black aluminium on a three-leg tripod base, with an integrated 36W LED running the perimeter of both rings. That gives 2500 lumens of warm white (3000K) light in a full 360 degree spread, so the glow reaches out across the room in every direction.

We would place the Crochet in a living room, bedroom or open-plan space where you want a soft wash of light instead of task lighting. The tripod base keeps it steady on bare floors and short-pile rugs, and the integrated LED dims on a compatible dimmer switch (sold separately) so you can take it from full brightness down to low evening levels. The matt black finish stays visually recessive, so the frame reads quietly even when the rings are at full output.

The LED is built in and runs on standard 220-240V 50Hz mains, so the Crochet plugs in and works straight away with no bulbs to buy. It carries an IP20 rating for dry indoor use only, and the 80 CRI rating renders colours accurately enough for everyday living spaces. Colour temperature is a fixed warm 3000K and the beam is a wide 360 degrees from the twin rings.

Frequently Asked

Is the Crochet floor lamp dimmable?

Yes. The integrated 36W LED dims on a compatible dimmer switch (sold separately), so you can set it from full 2500 lumen brightness down to a low, soft level for the evening.

Do I need to buy a bulb?

No. The LED is integrated into the two rings, so there is nothing extra to fit. You just plug it into a standard 220-240V socket and it is ready to use.

Can I use it outdoors?

No. The Crochet carries an IP20 rating, so it is for dry indoor rooms only such as living rooms and bedrooms. It is not protected against moisture or dust for outdoor or bathroom use.

What sort of light does it give?

A warm white 3000K glow at 2500 lumens, spread a full 360 degrees from the twin rings. It works as ambient room lighting rather than focused task light, filling a space with an even soft wash.
