Description

The Constellation is a 50cm table lamp built around three hand-blown glass spheres mounted on a bronze metal stem, set on a solid white marble base. Each sphere houses a G9 bulb fitting (bulbs sold separately), and the glass itself shows swirled mineral-like patterns in shades of grey with darker veining running through the surface.

Designed for side tables, console tables and bedroom nightstands where decorative accent lighting is needed, the lamp provides three distinct points of light rather than a single diffused source. The marble base gives the fitting a low centre of gravity and enough weight (3.8kg total) to keep it stable on surfaces that receive occasional knocks. The bronze stem finish pairs with warm-toned interiors and works alongside other mixed-metal fixtures without clashing.

Each glass sphere is individually blown, so the exact pattern of swirls and tonal variation differs between pieces. The spheres attach to the bronze stem on short arms at staggered heights, creating an asymmetric sculptural profile when viewed from the side. The lamp uses a monochrome cotton-braided flex cable with an inline rocker switch, allowing the three bulbs to be controlled together without reaching for a wall switch. Simple self-assembly is required on delivery.
