Description

The Connie is a 45 x 45cm square cushion in a cream ground crossed by broad chocolate-brown stripes, finished all the way round with a gathered ruffle in the same striped cloth. It is made from an 85% polyester and 15% linen blend woven for a linen-look texture, so you get the slubby, natural surface of linen with the added durability that polyester brings to a cover in daily use. The stripe runs on both faces, which means there is no wrong side to hide when you plump and turn it.

This is a cushion for a relaxed, cottage-style room. It sits happily on a sofa, an armchair or across the foot of a bed, and the cream-and-brown palette works with natural upholstery, painted wood and warm neutral walls. Because both sides carry the same print, it layers easily with plainer cushions and reads well grouped or on its own.
