Description

Circo is a square wall mirror in partially transparent mirrored and printed glass, 90cm by 90cm and 2.5cm deep. The glass is printed as well as mirrored, and because it is only partially reflective the wall behind reads faintly through parts of the face. That gives it more depth than a plain mirror of the same size, and it changes with the light through the day rather than holding one fixed appearance. The outer form is square, and the printed geometry sits within it.

At 90cm square it works as a single piece over a console, in a hallway, or in a bathroom, and it is rated bathroom proof so humidity is not a concern. It hangs in two orientations, so it can be turned to suit the wall it goes on. Two screws with washers and wall plugs are supplied and nothing needs assembling. It weighs 11KG, which is a comfortable two-person lift, and at 2.5cm deep it sits close enough to the wall to work in a corridor.

The face is partially transparent mirrored and printed glass throughout, made in Europe to a design by Annemie Vanzieleghem, and we cover it for seven years. It can be made to order from 25 pieces where a different size is needed. It reads well beside fully reflective mirrors from the same range, where the contrast between the two finishes is the point, and it is the piece to choose when a plain mirror would be too blank for the wall.
