This is an oblong cotton cushion, 50cm long and 30cm wide, woven in wide horizontal stripes. Bands of a denser weave alternate with looser, more open bands, and each change is marked by a row of short stitched dashes, so the pattern is one you can feel as well as see. The cover is 100% cotton and the filling is 100% polyester, and the whole cushion weighs 0.45KG. Its natural colour is a quiet one that settles easily beside wood, stone and other plain textiles.
