Description

These are side plates in stoneware, sold as a set of four, each 20.5cm across and 2cm tall. Around a plain centre, a wide rim is painted with pink stripes divided by fine lines, and a cluster of berries and leaves runs along the top of the rim, embossed so that the fruit stands proud of the surface. At 20.5cm, they are a true side plate size: big enough for a slice of cake, toast at breakfast or a starter, and small enough to sit beside a dinner plate without crowding the place setting. We like that the raised fruit gives each plate something to feel under your fingers as well as see.

They suit the kitchen table every day and come out just as happily for afternoon tea, a birthday or a weekend brunch with friends.
