Camo is a round side table woven entirely from water hyacinth, 46cm across and 46cm tall. The top is coiled in a tight spiral and finished with an open, looped edge, and it rests on a short, narrow neck above a solid woven drum that forms the base, so the whole piece reads as one continuous weave from top to floor. Water hyacinth is a plant fibre that twists into a thick, rope-like strand, which gives the surface a chunky texture you notice as much by hand as by eye.
