Description

The Camden is a 107x79cm overmantle mirror with a black-painted wood frame and an arched top edge. The frame profile measures 25mm deep with a simple recessed inner edge that creates a subtle shadow line around the glass. The mirror itself is 4mm clear float glass with a standard silver backing.

Designed to hang above fireplaces, sideboards and hallway consoles, the Camden works in rooms where the mantel or console sits 80-100cm above floor level, positioning the mirror at a practical height for reflecting light and checking appearance. The arched top suits both Georgian-proportioned rooms with tall ceilings and standard 2.4m-height contemporary spaces. The 107cm width fits fireplaces and sideboards between 90-140cm wide without dominating the wall.

The black-painted finish on the wood frame is a matte satin rather than gloss, reducing reflections from window light and pairing cleanly with black-framed artwork, black metal furniture legs and graphite-toned fabrics. At 13kg the mirror requires two wall fixings rated for the weight — D-rings or heavy-duty mirror plates on the back attach to wall plugs or directly into timber studs behind plasterboard.
