Description

We stock the Bruma as a flattened spherical pendant in textured amber glass with a chrome canopy and suspension cables. An integrated 12W LED sits inside the 300mm shade, giving 1500 lumens of warm white light at 2700K, and the crackle texture across the glass breaks up the direct view of the source so the light reads as a soft glow rather than a bright point.

We designed it for over a dining table, breakfast bar or kitchen island, where its 120 degree spread covers the surface below and the amber tone keeps the light warm through the evening. The LED is dimmable, so on a compatible dimmer you can run it bright for meal prep and bring it down for sitting over dinner. The chrome canopy and cables give a polished metallic accent that suits contemporary and transitional rooms alike.

The chrome canopy measures roughly 120mm across and the drop can be set during installation to suit your ceiling height, so it works well in rooms of 2.4m or higher. It runs on 220 to 240V mains, renders colour at 80 CRI and carries an IP20 rating, which means it is for indoor dry locations away from direct moisture. The integrated LED is rated Energy Class D.

Is it dimmable?

Yes. The integrated 12W LED dims on a compatible dimmer (sold separately), so you can set it from full brightness for meal prep down to a soft glow over dinner.

How is this different from the smaller Bruma amber pendant?

This is the 300mm version of the amber glass shade. We also stock a 250mm amber glass pendant and a Ring pendant in the same range, so choose by the shade size that suits your space.

Where can I install it?

It is rated IP20, so it is for indoor dry locations away from direct moisture. It suits dining tables, breakfast bars and kitchen islands in rooms with ceilings of 2.4m or higher.

Do I need to buy a bulb?

No. The 12W LED is built in and gives 1500 lumens of warm white light at 2700K, so there is no separate bulb to fit or replace.
