This set of four Brenta stoneware cups and saucers is made for the everyday coffee or tea break. Each beige cup holds 185ml, which makes it a proper cup rather than a mug: right for tea poured from a pot, a cappuccino or a small milky coffee. The cup is 8cm across and 7cm tall, with a rounded body and an open loop handle, and it sits on a shallow saucer 11cm across and 2cm high. A pale glaze runs around the rim and breaks into a speckled, darker lower half, and the inside carries the same soft speckle.
