Description

Our Breeze floor lamp stands on three slim wooden legs, set out as a tripod and braced with brass in a gold finish, with a drum shade in natural fibre on top. It is 143cm tall overall, and the shade is 24cm tall and 45cm across, a generous drum that sits well above the legs. The woven fibre of the shade softens and spreads the light from a single E27 lamp holder, the standard large screw cap, which takes a wide choice of bulbs. Wood, brass and fibre together give it a warm, natural look that suits Scandinavian and modern rooms alike.

It belongs in the living room beside a sofa or an armchair, where the tall tripod lifts the shade to a good height for reading or for lighting a quiet corner in the evening. It works just as well in a bedroom, a study or a hallway with a bare corner to fill, and the open legs keep it looking light even in a smaller space. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The 2m cable gives you some freedom in where it stands, and it is switched on and off rather than dimmed, so there is no dimmer to match.
