The Bloom Signage Symbol is a matt black iron plate that carries a room number or a symbol of your choosing, made to sit on the face of the Bloom wall and ceiling light. It is a lighting accessory, a bold, graphic marker that turns a fitting into a sign as well as a light. Each plate is made for one customer, to one brief. The plate is cut to order with your room number or symbol: after ordering, email sales@niori.co.uk with your order number and the room number or symbol you want. It fits the Bloom wall and ceiling light, which is sold separately and not included.

Because the number or symbol is yours to choose, it suits anywhere a light also needs to tell people where they are: beside each door along a hotel or guest house corridor, rooms in an office or studio, a holiday let, or a family home where each bedroom has its own number. A direction arrow on a landing or a knife and fork by a dining room door works just as well. It is for indoor use in dry rooms, on the Bloom light wherever that light is fitted, on a wall or on a ceiling, and it suits a modern scheme best.

The plate is iron, cut from sheet and finished in matt black, a flat, even colour with no shine that reads crisply from across a room or down a corridor. Matt black is a modern choice that sits easily against pale walls and warm timber alike, and it keeps the numbers and figures legible without competing with the light itself. For styling, we like it best where a run of the same light repeats down a passage: give each one its own number and the lights become the signage, so the walls stay clear of extra plaques and the whole scheme looks considered.
