Our Blink wall light is small and round: a disc of blown glass in a Frost finish, ribbed with fine concentric rings that run out from the centre to the rim. It is made of iron and blown glass, measures 13.2cm across and stands 8.2cm out from the wall, so it sits close and neat without reaching into a passage or over a bed. It takes one GX53 lamp, and the frosted glass softens its light into an even, gentle glow, with the rings catching it as they spread outwards. The Frost finish keeps the glass pale and quiet, so the fitting reads as a soft circle of light rather than a bright point.

Because it is so compact, it suits places where a larger fitting would crowd the wall: either side of a bed, along a hallway or landing, beside a dressing table, or in a row down a corridor where several can set a steady rhythm of light. Its modern, simple shape sits as happily in a contemporary flat as in an older house with plain painted walls. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. It runs on 220-240V mains and is controlled by a simple on-off switch, so there is no dimmer to choose.

Iron and blown glass make up the fitting, with the glass ribbed in rings from the middle of the disc out to its edge and the Frost finish giving it a soft, misted look.
