Description

The Bella Direct is a slim disc pendant light in Brushed Bronze: a round aluminium head 10.1cm across and just 1.3cm deep, held on a fine central stem 14cm tall. Its integrated LED glows through a ring around the underside and lights downwards, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It gives 388lm with a CRI of 90, so food, fabrics and skin tones look true. It comes in 2700K for a warmer glow or 3000K for a slightly crisper white, and LED power is 4.5W or 6.5W, depending on the version.

We see it hanging low over a dining table, or in a living room beside a sofa or reading chair, where a small, quiet light is all you need. Hang a few in a line along a long table for an even spread. The cable gives a drop of up to 300cm, so it suits high ceilings as well as standard ones. It is rated IP40, so it is for dry rooms indoors only. It comes in two canopy versions: with canopy, which is 5.5cm across and 13cm tall, or without canopy, for multi-pendant canopies (sold separately), so several pendants can hang together from one canopy.

The Brushed Bronze finish has a soft, fine grain that sits warmly against pale walls and darker woods alike. The pendant runs on mains power at 230V and is wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician. For the 24V DC version only, it also needs a remote 24V DC driver, which is not included and is sold separately; the driver supplies the steady low-voltage current the LED runs on. Before you order, measure the drop you want from ceiling to head, and pick the canopy version and colour temperature that suit your room.
