This is an outdoor cushion built around a hand-painted British seaside scene: a row of beach huts in soft ice-cream shades, a lighthouse, a sailing boat, bunting strung between the roofs and a donkey waiting on the sand. It is made from 100% polyester, face and reverse, and comes in two sizes, a 30 x 50cm rectangle and a 45 x 45cm square, so you can pick the shape that suits your seating. Polyester is the reason this one earns its place outside: it sheds water rather than soaking it up, and the fabric here is finished as a water-resistant cloth made for the garden.

It is a reversible cushion, and the two faces are genuinely different. One side carries the seaside scene; the other is a blue and white gingham check, so you get two looks from a single cushion and can turn it to match the day.
