Description

We stock the Basis in white as a linear LED pendant light for hanging over a desk, worktop or island. It is a slim aluminium profile finished in white powder coat, with an integrated 36W LED strip that runs the full length of the body and casts an even downward light. With a wide 100 degree beam and a 90 CRI rating, it gives natural, true-to-life colour across the surface below.

We think it suits workspaces and open-plan rooms where you want steady, uniform light for a task. It works well over long kitchen islands, meeting tables and studio desks, and the 90 CRI output keeps colours accurate for jobs where that matters, such as home offices and design work. The white finish sits quietly against white or light-toned ceilings, so the fitting stays understated in the room.

The LED is dimmable, so you can take the light from full brightness down to a soft glow to suit the time of day, and it works with most trailing-edge and leading-edge dimmers (sold separately). The driver is integrated into the body and runs on 220-240V AC mains, so installation needs only a mains connection. The aluminium body helps the fitting shed heat, and it carries an IP20 rating for use in dry indoor rooms.
