Description

The Axel surface mounting bracket is a powder-coated steel support designed to mount Knightsbridge Axel high bay LED fixtures (100W, 150W and 200W models) onto flat ceilings, concrete soffits or structural beams. The bracket measures 254mm long by 50mm high with a 115mm projection from the mounting surface, allowing the high bay to sit clear of the ceiling plane and distribute light downward without shadowing.

Designed for warehouses, workshops, sports halls and industrial facilities where high bays are ceiling-mounted rather than suspended on chains or cables, the bracket provides a fixed mounting solution where overhead clearance is limited or where a cleaner ceiling line is preferred. The 115mm standoff positions the high bay body far enough from the ceiling to allow airflow around the heat sink and prevents heat build-up against the mounting surface.

The bracket is formed from 2mm steel with a black powder-coated finish that resists corrosion in dusty or high-humidity environments. Four mounting apertures on the top plate accept M8 or M10 fixings into concrete, steel beams or timber joists, while the curved support arm bolts directly to the high bay's mounting lugs using the supplied hardware. The bracket carries a 5-year warranty matching the warranty period of the Axel high bay range.
