Description
This is the Autumn Forage cushion, a rectangular scatter cushion measuring 30 by 50cm with a woodland scene worked in tufted and embroidered yarns across the front. The face is a soft cream ground carrying a row of mushrooms, toadstools and autumn leaves in browns, ambers, mustard and rust. The tufting gives the mushroom caps a raised, looped texture you can feel under the hand, while the finer detail of the stems and leaves is picked out in flat embroidery. The reverse, as the photographs show, is a plain brown velvet-look fabric that the supplier calls Truffle. The cushion is made from 100% polyester.
The long, low proportion suits the place a square cushion cannot quite fill: propped along the back of a sofa, set against larger plain cushions on a bed, or laid across an armchair or reading nook. At 30 by 50cm it reads as a lumbar or bolster shape rather than a main cushion, so it works best as the accent in a group rather than the base layer. The autumnal palette sits happily with plain creams, browns and rusts, and the woodland motif leans into a country or seasonal scheme without being tied to one time of year.
The cover closes with a zip along one edge, so it lifts off for cleaning and the pad can be swapped or replaced. Polyester is hard-wearing and holds its colour well, which matters on a piece with this much worked detail. The two faces give you a choice each time you plump it: the full tufted woodland front, or the plain brown reverse for a quieter look. If you like the print, it carries across the wider Autumn Forage range.

Frequently Asked
How big is this cushion?
It measures 30 by 50cm, a rectangular lumbar shape rather than a square, so it suits the back of a sofa or as an accent among larger cushions.
What is the front made of and how is the pattern applied?
The cover is 100 per cent polyester. The mushroom caps are tufted for a raised looped texture, and the stems and leaves are picked out in flat embroidery.
Does the cover come off?
Yes, there is a zip along one edge so the cover lifts off for cleaning and the inner pad can be swapped or replaced when needed.
What does the back look like?
The reverse is a plain brown fabric with a soft velvet-like sheen, so you can turn it for a quieter look without the woodland print.
Does it come with a filling pad?
The record does not confirm whether a pad is included, so please check the product page before ordering if you need the insert supplied.
